Job summary

SkyBridge Tactical is seeking a Contract Instructor to work with the ATF to deliver specialized training and advanced knowledge in firearms investigations, post-blast analysis, arson investigation, explosives enforcement, and related techniques.

Requirements include 10+ years of law enforcement experience, a degree or equivalent, and certification or demonstrable ability to teach complex concepts. This contract role emphasizes safe, accurate instruction and ongoing curriculum development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years in law enforcement experience.
• Must have completed a certified instructor training course or demonstrable experience delivering instruction on complex law enforcement operations.
• Ability to develop, review, and update lesson plans and training materials.
• Strong editorial and grammar skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Specialized Training through classroom, practical, and scenario-based instruction.
• Develop and Maintain Lesson Plans and student handouts.
• Ensure Subject Matter Currency by staying up-to-date with law enforcement trends and regulations.
• Evaluate Student Performance with written, oral, and practical exercises; provide feedback.
• Collaborate with ATF program managers to design or revise curricula to meet needs.
• Promote Safe and Professional Training Environments, especially during live-fire/demo events.
• Provide Instructional Expertise using ISD methods and effective communication.
• Document Training Activities via reports and training records.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert and advise ATF leadership on best practices.
