Job summary

SkyBridge Tactical LLC in Southern California is seeking an experienced Weapons Expert to support its role-player team during military training exercises. You will help ensure authentic and safe use of training weapons, including a range of small arms and training systems.

Candidates should have extensive military or law enforcement weapons background, strong weapons safety knowledge, and the ability to pass background checks. Travel to training sites across Southern California is required.

Qualifications

• Extensive military or law enforcement weapons background.
• Expert knowledge of weapons safety and handling across a range of small arms and training weapon systems.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to pass a background check and high-risk training suitability screening.

Responsibilities

• Advise and support role players on the safe handling and realistic use of training weapons, including AK-pattern rifles, blank-fire, marking cartridge, and paintball-type systems.
• Assist with weapons checks, function checks, and minor maintenance of contractor equipment during exercises.
• Support the Lead Role Player with accountability of government-issued weapons, blanks, and marking ammunition.
• Reinforce weapons safety throughout scenarios and follow all range safety and Training Time Out procedures.
• Report weapons malfunctions, safety concerns, and lessons learned for after-action reviews.
