Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an operations integrator to own subsystem CONOPS, architecture, components, software, and testing interfaces for New Glenn. You will define constraints, alerts, and limits for flight vehicle operations and work with vehicle operations teams to feed lessons learned into integrated operation.

The role requires a BS in engineering and 4+ years in mechanical or hydraulic systems, with strong system engineering knowledge and hands-on testing experience.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 4+ years with mechanical or hydraulic systems.
• Experience with system engineering principles and processes.
• Experience in analysis, design, or testing of mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Support hardware design reviews and technical assessments.
• Develop and maintain CONOPS documentation.
• Write operations documents defining testing and lifecycle requirements.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing and operations teams for integration.
• Develop test plans, procedures, and acceptance criteria for Stage 1 subsystems.
• Provide real-time on-console support during tests and launches.
• Analyze test data and propose design improvements.
