Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a hands-on Launch & Test Engineer to join the OLS Test Operations team in Cape Canaveral. You will design, operate, and maintain test facilities for orbital rockets, leading testing of high-pressure gas, cryogenic, and fluid systems while collaborating with design, QA, and production teams to ensure readiness for launch.

You will contribute to safety analyses and drive reliability improvements.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
• Experience with automated test sequences for cryogenic/propellant systems is desirable.
• Real-time console operations and off-nominal response experience.
• Knowledge of PLC/DAQ/HIL and integrated ground systems is required.

Responsibilities

• Design, construct, operate, and maintain test facilities for orbital rockets and launch vehicle systems.
• Generate and execute tests for high-pressure gas, cryogenic, and fluid systems.
• Lead test operations with technicians and interpret test data for facility health.
• Maintain test documentation, work instructions, and inspection plans.
• Support safety analyses and implement corrective actions for reliability.
