Job summary

Magna Seating in Moore, SC is seeking a Senior Launch Coordinator to support program management during new product introductions at the manufacturing site.

You will coordinate with customers, suppliers and internal teams to manage changes, maintain schedules and ensure on-time builds. The role demands strong leadership, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving in an ERP/MES environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related field.
• Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders, prioritizing launch activities and meeting tight deadlines.
• Ability to lead and manage changes during new product launches and process modifications.
• Ability to analyze complex data, anticipate risks and apply structured problem-solving.
• Strong leadership and collaboration with engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and quality.
• Attention to detail in managing material requirements and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with EHS policies.
• Lead change management proactively to meet program milestones.
• Track and publish required part levels for each build phase.
• Coordinate with suppliers on engineering changes and align with cross-functional teams.
• Develop recovery plans to eliminate barriers and keep on schedule.
• Interface with required functional disciplines for program support.
• Lead detailed timing plans for engineering changes and track tool status.
• Create purchase orders for special parts and manage inventory tracking.
• Support launch and materials teams with revision levels and system demands.
• Maintain KPIs for change management and report to leadership.
