Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Eight to ten years of project or program management experience preferred, including experience in plastic injection molding.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of plastic injection molding processes and injection mold tooling.
• Working knowledge of ISO requirements related to design, process, document control, and GMPs.
• Strong written and verbal communication, leadership, interpersonal, and motivational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the recruitment, hiring, development, workload allocation, and supervision of Orchard Park project engineering personnel in support of Medbio’s growth strategy.
• Determine training and development needs and ensure appropriate ongoing development of the engineering team.
• Lead the planning and execution of all Orchard Park tooling and launch projects to meet customer requirements, committed timelines, and company financial objectives.
• Maintain adequate engineering coverage for scientific molding and assembly-process development; tooling, specifications, and bills of material for new and transfer projects.
• Lead the evaluation and implementation of new ideas, processes, and technologies.
• Ensure the engineering team completes appropriate qualifications and validations and supports effective root-cause investigation and corrective action.
