You will drive launches from planning through validation, coordinating with Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain and corporate teams to meet safety, schedule, and budget targets. The role emphasizes APQP/PPAP, PFMEA, and Control Plans, with a focus on reducing risk, ensuring quality, and achieving production readiness.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Five+ years of progressive engineering experience, preferably in automotive/high-volume manufacturing.
• Experience leading new product, equipment, or manufacturing process launches.
• Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, root cause analysis, and structured problem-solving.
• Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Experience troubleshooting manufacturing processes and resolving complex technical issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with shop-floor employees, engineers, suppliers, customers, and leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Lead launches from concept through production readiness and stabilization.
• Develop and manage comprehensive launch plans with milestones and risks.
• Serve as primary engineering lead for assigned launch programs with technical direction.
• Coordinate activities across Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain and suppliers.
• Lead prototype builds, pre-production trials, equipment runoffs and validations.
• Drive APQP deliverables and support PPAP, PFMEAs, Control Plans, and process documentation.
• Identify risks early and develop mitigation and contingency plans.
• Lead problem-solving and root cause analysis for manufacturing issues.
• Coordinate ECN implementations and ensure proper validation before production.
