Job summary

Boston Scientific is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Supervisor to lead daily operations for laser-based medical console systems. You will provide technical leadership, ensure GMP/ISO 13485 compliance, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing, testing, and packaging.

You will oversee KPIs, mentor technicians, and collaborate with Quality, Engineering and Supply Chain to resolve issues, while maintaining thorough documentation and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in engineering, manufacturing or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (medical device preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years' supervisory or team‑leadership experience.
• Experience with laser system assembly, optics handling or electromechanical integration.
• Knowledge of GMP, ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR Part 820 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily manufacturing operations including production scheduling, assembly, testing and packaging.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching and operational support to technicians and assemblers.
• Monitor KPIs (throughput, yield, efficiency, scrap) and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO 13485 and 21 CFR Part 820.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering and Supply Chain to resolve nonconformances and support design transfers.
