Job summary

THE·TEAM seeks a Production Manager in Charlotte to lead day-to-day large-format production, scheduling, staffing, and workflow. This leadership role drives quality, safety, and on-time delivery across projects while coordinating with multiple teams to balance workload across facilities.

Key requirements include 5+ years in large-format or similar operations with supervisory experience, strong planning and inventory control, and familiarity with ERP/MIS systems.

Qualifications

• Hands-on familiarity with wide-format printers such as HP, Durst, EFI or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of materials used in event and experiential environments (vinyl, banner, fabric, mesh, adhesive vinyl, rigid substrates).
• Strong understanding of production capacity planning, equipment utilization and continuous improvement.
• Experience managing both print and finishing operations.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Experience with ERP, MIS, scheduling, inventory or production management systems preferred.
• Experience with event, experiential, environmental graphics, signage, or related production preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the daily operation and performance of the Charlotte production department, including scheduling, labor allocation, equipment allocation, and workflow.
• Ensure projects are staffed and scheduled to meet deadlines while maintaining quality and safety.
• Identify capacity, staffing, equipment, material, or scheduling risks and implement corrective actions.
• Lead preproduction reviews for complex programs to validate feasibility, timelines, and materials.
• Coordinate with Phoenix production leadership to balance workload and align standards.
• Maintain inventory control for substrates, inks, consumables, and finishing supplies.
• Partner with Purchasing, Warehouse, Project Management, and production teams on material requirements.
• Provide regular performance updates to leadership and drive continuous improvement.
