Job summary

Caliberr Staffing is seeking skilled CNC Machinists for 3- to 6-month manufacturing assignments across multiple sites in the United States. You will handle table-type Horizontal Boring Mills and Floor Mills in a high-mix, low-volume setting, performing setups, offset adjustments, and quality inspections on large fabricated parts.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of CNC experience, can work night shifts, and are comfortable with extended cycles and autonomous problem solving.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional CNC machining experience.
• Experience operating Floor Mills or table-type HBMs.
• Background in machining large fabricated weldments and heavy components.

Responsibilities

• Execute setups and operation of large-format CNC Floor Mills and HBMs.
• Process materials including weldments, forgings, and fabricated assemblies.
• Complete multiple setups for large-scale components.
• Analyze blueprints and setup instructions to ensure accuracy.
• Ensure high-quality parts by inspecting throughout the cycle.
• Manage tool wear compensation, offsets and tool changes.
• Troubleshoot machining issues independently to resolve problems.
• Use grinders and hand tools to deburr components.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and operate overhead cranes.
