Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis LLC is seeking a skilled CNC Horizontal Boring Mill Machinist to join our Bearings, Seal & Hydraulics division. You will set up, program, and run large metal workpieces, reading blueprints, editing G-code, and inspecting parts with precision tools.

Responsibilities include keeping safe production, operating overhead cranes, and maintaining tooling and offsets for quality results. Strong math, blueprint reading, and tool knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to read blueprints and engineering orders accurately.
• Proficiency in programming and editing G-code for CNC-HBM machines.
• Ability to set up, adjust offsets and oversee machine functions.
• Strong math/layout skills and tool-offset calculations.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate CNC horizontal boring mill (HBM) machines.
• Read blueprints and determine machining methods from specifications.
• Program edits, tool changes, and machine offsets as needed.
• Inspect parts with precision gauges and ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Maintain equipment and perform preventive maintenance activities.
• Operate overhead cranes and ensure safe handling of materials.
