Zurich North America in Dallas/Addison seeks an experienced Large Casualty Underwriter to join our National Account, Large Casualty Team. You will evaluate, price, and negotiate highly complex large-scale risks and cultivate broker and client relations.

This role offers path to Executive Underwriter or AVP, Underwriting Director, based on experience, with opportunities in a supportive environment and a strong focus on growth and renewal retention across Domestic Casualty, Umbrella, Property,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent with 5+ years in underwriting or market facing area
• Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred for advancement
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with Associate Degree and relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Underwriting, analyzing, and generating new and renewal business
• Market facing and production within the Large Casualty, National Accounts division
• Administering and monitoring underwriting rules and guidelines, insurance laws and rating manuals
• Developing and maintaining broker relationships in the South Region
• Working within broad limits and authorities on highly complex assignments
