Job summary
BrightView Landscapes is seeking a Landscaper III to perform skilled landscape maintenance for commercial properties. The role requires independent work, operating commercial-grade equipment, and maintaining plant materials according to BrightView standards.
You will collaborate with the Crew Leader to address site needs, coach teammates, and ensure safety protocols. The position is full-time and involves outdoor work in various conditions with a focus on delivering quality results.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to safely operate landscaping equipment.
- Certified on level 3 equipment (bed edger, chainsaw, power pole, pruner, leaf vacuum, skid steer).
- Certified to apply pesticides.
- Demonstrated 6 months of accident-free performance.
Responsibilities
- Proactively maintain site detail.
- Lead and perform job duties when the Crew Leader is not on site.
- Work with the Crew Leader to solve problems and overcome challenges.
- Complete punch list items without supervision.
- Operate turf equipment and perform trimming, edging, and leaf blowers.
- Prune shrubs and low trees; maintain plant health and appearance.
- Identify irrigation problems and coordinate fixes with Crew Leader.
- Repair sprinkler heads as needed.
