Job summary

BrightView Landscapes, LLC is seeking a Landscaper III to provide skilled landscape maintenance for industrial, commercial, and public properties. This role works independently, performing complex tasks, operating commercial-grade equipment safely, and caring for plant materials and other landscape elements.

Responsibilities include leading when the Crew Leader is off site, solving schedule challenges, completing punch lists, pruning shrubs, maintaining irrigation, and coaching team members on

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Certified on level 3 equipment (bed edger, chainsaw, power pole, pruner, leaf vacuum, skid steer).
• Certified to apply pesticides.
• Has demonstrated 6 months of accident-free performance.

Responsibilities

• Proactively maintain site detail.
• Lead and perform duties when the Crew Leader is not on site.
• Work with the Crew Leader to solve problems and overcome schedule challenges.
• Complete punch list items without supervision.
• Offer solutions to deliver quality results.
• Cut turf with power mowers, trim, edge, and blower.
• Prune shrubs and low trees as needed.
• Identify irrigation problems and correct them with the Crew Leader.
• Repair broken sprinkler heads.
• Plant and maintain flowerbeds.
• Operate edger and line trimmer along various areas.
• Pick up trash and blow leaves onto turf before mowing.
• Mulch leaves and organic matter when mowing.
• Weed by hand or with tools.
• Coach team on safety topics.
