Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting partners with a growing landscape construction company to hire an experienced Construction Estimator for luxury residential projects. You will develop detailed estimates, perform material takeoffs, and price labor, equipment, and subcontractors.

Collaborate with designers, sales teams and project managers to ensure accurate scopes and budgets. Present estimates to clients, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support decision-making with clear explanations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction estimating experience, preferably in landscape construction or high-end residential projects.
• Experience estimating large-scale projects, ideally $500K or more.
• Strong knowledge of hardscaping, grading, drainage, construction materials, and installation methods.
• Ability to independently prepare accurate estimates and understand project profitability.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable interacting directly with clients, vendors, and construction teams.
• Experience with estimating software; Aspire preferred, but comparable platforms are welcome.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed estimates and pricing for large-scale landscape construction projects.
• Review construction plans, perform material takeoffs, and calculate labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Work with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
• Collaborate with designers, sales professionals, and project managers to ensure accurate project scopes and budgets.
• Present and explain estimates to clients, helping them understand project costs.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and profitability.
