Job summary

EDR (Environmental Design & Research) is seeking a licensed Landscape Architect to support site design and landscape architecture across our multidisciplinary practice. This hybrid role is ideally based in Syracuse, NY, with consideration for other NY locations.

The candidate will produce, coordinate, and QA project deliverables while managing multiple projects and budgets, with a strong emphasis on NYSDEC stormwater and SWPPP compliance. Travel for client meetings and site visits is expected.

Qualifications

  • SWPPP documents experience
  • Knowledge of NYSDEC stormwater regulations
  • Willingness to travel for meetings/site visits
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Produce and coordinate construction drawings, reports, specifications, and technical docs.
  • Lead or support SWPPP and stormwater design per NYSDEC requirements.
  • Coordinate with engineers, scientists, and regulatory agencies on permitting.
  • Mentor staff and coordinate work across designers and subconsultants.
  • Assist with scope development, budgeting, scheduling, and progress tracking.
