EDR (Environmental Design & Research) is seeking a licensed Landscape Architect to support site design and landscape architecture across our multidisciplinary practice. This hybrid role is ideally based in Syracuse, NY, with consideration for other NY locations.
The candidate will produce, coordinate, and QA project deliverables while managing multiple projects and budgets, with a strong emphasis on NYSDEC stormwater and SWPPP compliance. Travel for client meetings and site visits is expected.

This hybrid position will, ideally, be based in our Syracuse, NY office. However, other locations within New York State may be considered.
This role is responsible for the production, coordination, and quality assurance of project deliverables, working collaboratively with project managers, practice area leaders, and technical staff. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical design capabilities, leadership in document production, and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines and budget expectations.
A key specialty for this position is a comprehensive understanding of New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) stormwater regulations, including preparation of Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP), erosion and sediment control design, and coordination with permitting agencies.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $65,000 to $85,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience. EDR reserves the right to offer compensation outside of this range based on education, credentials, skills, internal equity, geographic location, and business needs.
