Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Landscape Architect to plan and design outdoor spaces and site development plans, combining artistic and technical skills for aesthetically pleasing and functional solutions.

The position covers conceptual design, CAD-based drawing, grading, planting design, and construction administration, with responsibility expanding to mentorship of drafter/designer staff under senior guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture, or related field.
• Professional Registration is required.

Responsibilities

• Research, review, and interpret local Zoning, Subdivision & Land Development ordinances
• Perform site layout, grading, and road design within AutoCAD C3D (or oversee this aspect with a drafter/designer)
• Understanding of utility layout, profiling, and detailing for gravity sanitary sewer and water systems
• Prepare compelling presentation graphics/renderings
• Material and site furniture selections
• Prepare opinions of probable cost
• Understanding of stormwater conveyance design, detailing, and computations
• Understanding of erosion and sediment control facility design, detailing, and computations
• Provide construction phase services including oversight during construction of site related features and planting plans, shop drawing review, RFI responses, CSK preparation, etc.
• Prepare as-built record plans for submission to local, state, and federal agencies
• Provide mentorship, technical support, and delegation to drafter/designer staff
