Job summary

The City of Cincinnati is seeking a Senior Landscape Architect within the Planning and Design Division to strengthen project delivery and maintain the quality of Cincinnati Parks assets across the park system.

The role focuses on protecting park assets, promoting design standards, and improving project quality and collaboration with residents and stakeholders to ensure thoughtful, durable, and high-quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Three years experience with City of Cincinnati as Architecture Intern and a Bachelor's degree in architecture.
• Bachelor's degree in architecture or landscape architecture as required.
• Ohio registration must be obtained during probation if not already registered.
• Possession of an architectural or landscape architecture license and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized architectural, urban design and landscape architecture services and prepare programs, documents, correspondence and presentations.
• Serve as liaison between the City, contractors and related groups to see projects through to completion.
• Supervise the work of subordinate personnel and manage project delivery from concept through implementation.
• Communicate clearly with residents, stakeholders, internal staff, consultants and leadership throughout all phases.
