Job summary

The City of Cincinnati Parks is seeking a Senior Engineering Technician to support planning through implementation of facility projects. You will collaborate with division staff, contractors, consultants, and internal/external partners to move projects forward.

Responsibilities include aiding expedited project delivery, coordinating schedules and documents, and improving service delivery through new tools and methods.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of engineering principles related to the area of responsibility.
• Understanding of construction practices and surveying.
• Experience with AutoCAD and GIS tools (ArcView/ArcGIS).
• Ability to produce technical drawings and land surveys.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, review, and coordination of facility projects and maintenance.
• Support schedules, cost estimates, procurement, and field observations.
• Provide technical guidance to staff and collaborate with partners.
• Conduct surveys, tests, and prepare layouts for projects.
