Job summary

The Kleingers Group in Columbus, OH seeks a licensed Landscape Architect to lead design and construction documentation for parks, streetscapes, and master planning projects. You will transform concepts into plans, details, and specifications, coordinating with architects, engineers, and clients to ensure quality and code compliance.

This role requires a BS/MS in Landscape Architecture, a professional licensure, and a track record of managing multiple projects from SD to CD.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or related field from an accredited program.
Must be a Licensed Landscape Architect.
Ten (10) or more years' experience preferred.
Experience with Construction Documents.
Proficient knowledge of technical drawings, plans, details, and specifications.
Ability to work on multiple projects with multiple deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Consult with internal designers, management, and clients on best practices for landscape design.
Prioritize project assignments to meet firm expectations.
Analyze topographical data, surveys, zoning codes, and drawings as needed.
Review landscape architecture drawings and specifications.
Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure design integration.
Sign and seal landscape construction documents for construction.
Assist staff on design, documentation, and administration.
