Job summary

Environmental Resources Management (ERM) seeks an experienced Managing Consultant, Landscape Architecture to lead landscape design within multidisciplinary teams for high-visibility energy and infrastructure projects across North America.

You will influence siting and permitting decisions, coordinate with GIS and visual simulation specialists, and ensure technical integrity of deliverables while mentoring staff and managing client relationships.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Landscape Architecture or related field; 5–10 years of landscape architecture experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and related software.
• Licensure as a Registered Landscape Architect preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental impact assessments, land planning, facility siting, and permitting for large-scale energy and infrastructure projects.
• Produce and review VIAs and related technical deliverables.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure regulatory compliance and technical accuracy.
• Mentor technical staff and manage budgets, timelines, and client relationships.
• Conduct site visits and maintain direct client communication to support project delivery.
