Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA in Burlington, VT seeks a Senior Systems Verification & Certification Engineer to support a Landing Gear Program. You will verify landing gear systems and supplier deliverables, review requirements, and ensure traceability end-to-end.

The ideal candidate has 7–15 years in aerospace, strong knowledge of verification, qualification, or certification, and experience with DOORS, Jama, or Polarion. Remote work from ET hours is possible; onsite in Burlington is preferred.

Qualifications

• 7–15 years aerospace engineering experience.
• Experience with verification, qualification or certification.
• Experience reviewing third-party supplier verification deliverables.
• Ability to work independently as a technical SME.
• Experience with requirements management and traceability.

Responsibilities

• Review and update landing gear specifications and requirements.
• Review requirements from third-party suppliers and manage traceability.
• Assess verification plans, test procedures, and qualification results.
• Identify gaps and define additional verification activities.
• Prepare verification plans, compliance reports, and certification deliverables.
• Coordinate with third-party suppliers and internal teams; track actions.
