Qualifications

• Extensive experience performing land use planning/land development-related activities.
• Experience interpreting and applying City and County Comprehensive Plans and Development Codes.
• Strong organizational skills and proficiency with word processing, presentation, spreadsheet, and scheduling software (MS Office, MS Project, Adobe).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Research property, zoning, and utility requirements for compliance.
• Prepare and submit land use applications (subdivisions, zone changes, CUPs, site plans).
• Analyze complex issues affecting property development and transportation.
• Coordinate with engineering, surveying, and landscape teams.
• Develop clear scopes of work for proposals.
• Coordinate with clients on project data and scheduling.
• Set up and attend neighborhood meetings.
• Create and maintain project schedules and milestones.
• Build and maintain positive client and team relationships.
• Travel to projects as needed.
