Jones & DeMille Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Professional Land Surveyor to plan and design moderately complex survey projects, coordinating with PMs and engineering to meet project goals. The role involves leading survey efforts, ensuring quality, and maintaining strong client relationships.

You will work within the Survey department on a full-time basis, collaborating across offices and with contractors while developing expertise in state and local survey standards.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree is required.
• 4+ years of related professional experience.
• Professional Land Surveyor with the ability to obtain registration within six months if not registered in desired project locations.
• Proven track record of collaborating with teams of technical professionals and projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design survey projects across multiple sites.
• Prepare project scope, schedule, budget and progress reports under PM direction.
• Attend team and project coordination meetings.
• Participate in Post Project Review with clients and internal teams.
• Lead quality control for survey documents and deliverables.
• Develop and manage UDOT Right-of-Way projects.
• Train junior staff and oversee field crews.
• Report insights to management and support business development.
