LDC, Inc. is seeking a Professional Land Surveyor to lead complex survey projects from proposal through completion in the Washington area.

You will serve as the primary technical resource for clients and project teams, oversee survey deliverables, and provide professional and QA oversight. Reporting to the Director of Land Surveying, you will guide staff development, support department standards, planning, and process improvements, while maintaining exceptional client service and project

Qualifikationen

• Washington State Professional Land Surveyor license required. Multi-state licensure preferred.
• Associate degree or technical certification in engineering, surveying, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Eight (8) or more years of progressively responsible field and office surveying experience in land development and construction projects.
• Broad field and office land surveying experience, including boundary, topographic, construction staking, control networks, GNSS/GPS (RTK and static), route/corridor, and residential/subdivision surveying.
• Valid Washington State driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.

Aufgaben

• Lead survey projects from proposal through completion, managing scope, schedule, staffing, budgeting, client communication, and risk assessment.
• Develop and maintain client relationships by serving as the primary contact and ensuring satisfaction throughout project delivery.
• Provide professional surveying services with QA oversight and collaborate with leadership on standards, staff development, and department efficiency.
• Serve as Surveyor of Record for assigned projects and ensure compliance with licensing requirements.
• Travel to project sites for field reviews, client coordination, and agency meetings.
