Job summary

Ulteig is seeking a Senior Land Surveyor with multiple PLS licenses across states including Texas, Wyoming, Kansas, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, and North Dakota. The role focuses on leading projects and field crews, offering strategic leadership and resource management in transportation and municipal markets.

Responsibilities include project technical leadership, team mentorship, and business development activities, with up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• A PLS license in one or more of the following states: Texas (RPLS), Wyoming, Kansas, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, or North Dakota is required.
• Strong analytical, self-motivated, and ability to work in high-pressure situations with a positive attitude.
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with clear expectations and timeliness.
• Proven presentation and communication skills; initiative to explore new opportunities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access; willingness to learn new software as needed.
• Must have permanent authorization to work in the US.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead survey activities during proposal, design, and construction stages of assigned projects.
• Provide project oversight, manage survey scope per contracts, assist in change orders, and maintain schedules.
• Maintain high quality and responsiveness to meet client requirements in line with company expectations.
• Oversee survey activities of team members on assigned projects.
• Review project documents, drawings, calculations, and specifications; assume responsible charge.
