KPFF Consulting Engineers in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Survey Project Manager to lead multiple surveying projects. You will oversee technical quality, schedules, budgets, and client relationships while mentoring team members in a collaborative office-based environment.

Qualifications

• Progressive land surveying experience with project management responsibility.
• Strong technical knowledge of boundary/topographic surveying and mapping.
• Experience reviewing survey data and ensuring deliverable quality.
• CAD software proficiency and ability to coordinate office and field personnel.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple surveying projects, including schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Oversee boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, right-of-way, and staking projects.
• Coordinate office survey staff and field crews for timely delivery.
• Review survey data and mapping documents for accuracy.
• Prepare and quality-control survey deliverables and legal descriptions.
• Sign or seal survey documents per licensure requirements.
• Serve as primary client contact and manage expectations.
• Collaborate with civil engineering teams to support design and construction.
• Provide mentorship and professional development to team members.
