Job summary

CES Group Engineers, LLP is a woman-owned multi-discipline firm serving the Carolinas. The Professional Land Surveyor Project Manager will join our Charlotte, NC team to lead surveying projects and coordinate field and office activities.

You will manage scheduling, scope, and budgets; stamp final survey documents; and interact with clients, with occasional travel to project sites, while guiding field crews and ensuring quality control.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of land surveying experience.
• Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in NC and/or SC.
• Proficiency with field surveying techniques and survey office practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management and oversee scheduling, scope, and budgets for deliverables.
• Provide legal certification with stamp and certify final survey plans and maps.
• Direct field survey crews and manage resources and budgets across multiple concurrent projects.
• Lead the team and coordinate field and office surveying practices.
• Quality control review of field survey data and preparation of drawings.
• Interact with clients and may travel to project sites.
• Coordinate and collaborate with others to get the work done.
