Job summary

Jobot in Riverside, CA is seeking an experienced Senior Land Surveyor to lead the survey team. The ideal candidate will hold a California PLS license, a bachelor’s in Surveying or Geomatics, and 6+ years of land surveying experience with project management responsibilities.

You will oversee boundary, topographic, and construction staking surveys, mentor crews, and ensure ALTA/NSPS compliance while coordinating with clients and internal teams to deliver accurate, timely results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or related field.
• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in California.
• 6+ years of land surveying experience, including project management.
• Experience with boundary, topographic, and construction staking surveys.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and surveying software (e.g., Trimble, Leica).
• Strong knowledge of ALTA/NSPS surveys and local regulations.
• Proven ability to manage survey crews, schedules, and deliverables.
• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
