Job summary

RICK Engineering seeks a Principal Survey Analyst in Riverside to lead land surveying efforts within the architecture, engineering & construction sector. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to map the physical environment using GPS, robotic total stations, UAV/UAS, LiDAR and CAD deliverables.

The role emphasizes PLSS analysis, determining boundaries, rights-of-way, monuments, and easements, and preparing final plats and exhibits for agency review.

Qualifications

BA/BS in GIS or Land Surveying with a minimum of six (6) years of experience or ten (10) years equivalent work experience.
Registered land surveyor (PLS) in CA or ability to obtain CA PLS within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

Lead land surveying tasks across projects in architecture, engineering & construction.
Prepare final plats, exhibits, and legal descriptions.
Coordinate with design, civil, and water resources teams throughout project lifecycles.
Process survey documents and records for agency submissions.
Establish new parcels, roads, subdivisions, and easements as required.
