Job summary

Verdantas is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead engineering design and site development projects across multiple offices. You will guide teams from project inception through construction, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule adherence while maintaining client relationships.

The role emphasizes mentorship, sustainable design practice, and coordination with design and operations leadership to deliver successful entitlements and master planning efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, sanitary, environmental, chemical or mechanical engineering, or related degree.
• Typically 8+ years of experience delivering engineering and construction projects.
• 2+ years leading engineering teams through construction, master planning, and entitlement projects.
• Excellent communication skills to motivate and influence others.
• PE Registration in California or ability to obtain within one year.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement innovative design techniques to enhance projects and productivity.
• Direct oversight of engineering efforts from inception through construction with design team and client.
• Execute work professionally, safely, and ethically per company values and law.
• Maintain regular client engagement to expand trust and ensure project delivery.
• Coordinate with Principals and Operations leadership to assemble the project team and review progress.
• Project manage teams to meet scope, schedule, and budget for profitable work.
• Mentor staff to gain experience in existing and emerging services.
