Job summary

VHB is seeking a Land Development Senior Project Manager in Vermont to lead site/civil engineering for a diverse portfolio including ski resorts, real estate, energy, infill development and municipal infrastructure.

The role requires coordinating with integrated teams of engineers, environmental scientists, and landscape architects, and entails managing design development, permitting and construction documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required; Master's degree is a plus (may substitute for 1 year of experience).
• 11+ years of professional site/civil design engineering experience, including consulting/private sector, required.
• PE (Professional Engineer) license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead site/civil engineering for retail, residential, institutional, renewable energy and industrial site design.
• Prepare and review design criteria, drawings and specifications; develop design and construction docs.
• Mentor and train junior staff; manage project task financial performance.
