Job summary

VHB is seeking an experienced Land Development Senior Project Manager in Vermont to lead site/civil engineering for a diverse portfolio including ski resorts, real estate, energy, and infrastructure projects. The role requires strong leadership, client communication, and team collaboration in a hybrid VT setting.

The successful candidate will oversee design development, permitting, and construction documentation, while mentoring junior staff and coordinating with regulators and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• Master's degree preferred and may substitute for 1 year of experience.
• PE license required.

Responsibilities

• Manage site/civil engineering for public and private sites across ski resorts, real estate, energy and infrastructure projects.
• Lead civil engineering for grading, drainage, utilities, and site layout.
• Prepare and review design criteria, drawings, and specifications; develop contract documentation.
• Mentor junior staff and manage project tasks and budgets.
• Attend meetings with clients and agencies to discuss design and permitting issues.
