Job summary

Verdantas LLC is seeking a Senior Land Development Project Manager in Wilmington, DE to lead complex site development efforts. You will guide design, planning, and approvals for diverse projects while mentoring a team of engineers and CAD staff.

You will build and maintain strong client relationships, coordinate with municipal officials and consultants, and ensure high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited civil engineering degree required.
• 10+ years land development experience (Delaware/Maryland preferred).
• Minimum 3 years project management experience.
• P.E. or R.L.A. required; Delaware/Maryland/Pennsylvania/New Jersey preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Civil Group Leader with design and project management.
• Manage diverse land development projects including commercial, industrial, institutional, mixed-use and residential sites.
• Oversee staff engineers and CAD designers.
• Perform technical planning and site development design.
• Design and oversee site planning, grading, stormwater management, erosion & sediment control design, landscape planning.
• Prepare records and construction plans for agency/municipal review.
• Complete land development and environmental permitting applications.
• Attend meetings with municipal officials, engineers, developers, and contractors.
• Mentor and develop junior staff.
• Develop and maintain client relationships.
