Job summary

Job Juncture seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead land development projects in Hercules, CA, from planning and entitlements through design and construction support. A PE license and a Civil Engineering degree are required, with a strong track record in delivering complex, multi-disciplinary projects.

The role emphasizes client relationship management, scope and budget oversight, and coordination of regulatory approvals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Active Professional Engineer license.
• Minimum of 10 years of project management experience in land development.
• Proven experience leading projects from entitlement through design and construction.
• Strong knowledge of land development planning, design, permitting, and construction processes.
• Experience managing project scopes, schedules, budgets, quality, and profitability.
• Demonstrated experience managing clients and leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Lead land development projects from initial planning and entitlement through construction support.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, quality, deliverables, and profitability.
• Prepare proposals, fee estimates, project schedules, and scopes of work.
• Conduct site investigations and coordinate civil engineering design activities.
• Oversee entitlement, permitting, and regulatory approval processes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, agencies, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Support business development and identify new project opportunities.
• Supervise, mentor, and provide guidance to Project Managers and engineering staff.
• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams and coordinate project resources.
• Ensure designs and deliverables comply with regulations and standards.
• Monitor team performance, project financials, resource allocation, and client satisfaction.
• Provide construction administration and engineering support throughout project delivery.
