Job summary

CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Project Manager/Site Engineer to lead land development efforts and grow client relationships across the Southeast.

You will direct projects from pursuit through design, permitting and construction with a focus on schedule, budget, and client satisfaction. The role emphasizes business development (about half the time) and requires a proven track record in managing complex, multi-project portfolios while mentoring junior staff and collaborating across CHA

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related technical field required.
• 11+ years of professional experience, incl. 8+ years in project management.
• PE or RLA license required.
• Proven ability to expand client bases and drive revenue.
• Strong client relationship management and multi-project oversight.
• Proficient in proposals, project development, and organizational growth.
• Solid budgeting, forecasting and cash management understanding.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D and MS Office.
• Excellent communication and adaptability to diverse audiences.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead land development projects from pursuit to delivery, controlling scope, schedule, budget, risk and quality.
• Serve as trusted client advisor, expanding accounts over time.
• Pursue new business using an established professional network and client pursuit strategies.
• Prepare and oversee proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations, and closeout docs.
• Manage project financials including budgets, forecasts, and cash flow.
• Interpret and administer client contracts and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate across disciplines and offices to deliver integrated solutions.
• Mentor team members and foster internal relationships.
• Represent CHA through networking and client engagement.
