Prime Hiring Solutions in Rockford, IL is seeking an experienced LabVIEW Engineer (8+ years) to design, develop, and maintain Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and test automation systems. You will build LabVIEW VIs, integrate NI hardware, and support validation and production testing.

Qualifications

8+ years hands-on LabVIEW development experience.
Experience with ATE/automated test equipment for validation and production testing.
Strong proficiency in NI LabVIEW programming.
Hands-on with NI TestStand.
Experience with National Instruments hardware including cRIO and DAQ.
Experience interfacing with test and measurement equipment.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, maintain, and debug LabVIEW applications for automated test systems.
Develop VIs and automated test solutions using NI LabVIEW.
Develop and maintain automated test sequences using NI TestStand.
Integrate and control test equipment including DAQ, PXI, cRIO, and instrumentation.
Develop and execute automated test scripts and procedures for product validation and production testing.
Interface with hardware using TCP/IP, Serial, CAN, Bluetooth, SPI, and I2C.
Collect, process, analyze, and report test data; ensure compliance with specs.
Troubleshoot software, hardware, and test-system issues; perform root-cause analysis.
Improve test coverage, efficiency, reliability, and overall automation.
Collaborate with manufacturing, electrical, electronics, software, and design engineering teams.
