Job summary

Husco is seeking a Controls Engineer – LabVIEW to join our Global Manufacturing Engineering Team. You will design, program, and deploy modular LabVIEW applications powering automated test and assembly equipment.

This role emphasizes intuitive user interfaces, reliable performance, and scalable software. Collaboration with hardware, software, and manufacturing teams helps advance Husco’s production technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related engineering field or equivalent work experience required
• Software, Computer or Electrical Engineering Preferred
• Experience with LabVIEW, C#, Python, C++, Java, or similar programming languages
• Comprehension of software architecture, design patterns, and structured development practices.
• Familiarity with source control systems such as Git or Azure DevOps
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Authorized to work in the United States and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Design, Test, and Deploy: Develop controls and software for automated test and manufacturing systems using LabVIEW.
• Create Modular Software Solutions: Architect and maintain reusable, modular LabVIEW applications using structured software-development practices.
• Integrate Manufacturing Technologies: Integrate software with data acquisition hardware, sensors, instrumentation, PLCs, machine vision, robots, etc.
• Install, Support, and Standardize Systems: Support installation, commissioning, startup, debugging, and validation of systems across Husco locations.
