Job summary

Husco is seeking a Controls Engineer- LabVIEW to advance our Advanced Manufacturing team. You will design, program, and implement modular LabVIEW applications powering large-scale test equipment.

You’ll create intuitive interfaces for end users while ensuring performance and scalability. A successful engineer is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple priorities under pressure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related engineering field or equivalent experience.
• Experience programming automated manufacturing equipment.
• Authorized to work in the United States with a valid driver’s license.

This position centers on designing, programming, and implementing robust modular LabVIEW applications that power both new and existing manufacturing technologies. You will be responsible for creating intuitive, reliable interfaces for end users while ensuring system performance and scalability. What You’ll be Doing:

• Develop, Troubleshoot, and Deploy: Develop, troubleshoot, and deploy automated test system controls and software using LabVIEW. Work as part of an execution team and assume complete responsibility for system updates or new system control functions from start to finish of the project.
• Write LabVIEW code: Write LabVIEW code to control automated test equipment. Architect, test, and deploy a reusable, modular software solution that involves using a structured software development process with version management.
• Support System Installation: Support field installation, startup, and debug of systems at Husco and customer sites. Train and communicate automated machine functionality to end users and have excellent written and verbal communication with internal and external customers.

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in related engineering field or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum of 3 years of programming experience with automated manufacturing equipment.
• LabVIEW programming experience required
• Ability to read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic prints and schematics
• Authorized to work in the United States and have a valid driver’s license
