Job summary

Husco is seeking a Controls Engineer- LabVIEW to join our Advanced Manufacturing team. You will design, program, and implement robust LabVIEW applications powering large-scale automated test equipment.

You will create intuitive interfaces for end users while ensuring performance and scalability. The role requires developing and deploying LabVIEW-driven controls, supporting field installations, and communicating with customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related engineering field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of programming experience with automated manufacturing equipment.
• LabVIEW programming experience required.
• Ability to read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic prints and schematics.
• Authorized to work in the United States and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Develop, troubleshoot, and deploy automated test system controls and software using LabVIEW.
• Write LabVIEW code to control automated test equipment and deploy a reusable modular software solution.
• Support field installation, startup, and debug of systems at Husco and customer sites; train end users and communicate effectively with customers.

Snapshot of the Role

As a Controls Engineer- LabVIEW with Husco, you will play a key role in our Advanced Manufacturing team with a strong focus on LabVIEW-driven controls development for large-scale automated test equipment. This position centers on designing, programming, and implementing robust modular LabVIEW applications that power both new and existing manufacturing technologies. You will be responsible for creating intuitive, reliable interfaces for end users while ensuring system performance and scalability. A successful Controls Engineer is self- motivated, thrives in problem-solving environments, can react quickly under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and brings strong attention to detail.

What You’ll be Doing:

• Develop, Troubleshoot, and Deploy:Develop, troubleshoot, and deploy automated test system controls and software using LabVIEW. Work as part of an execution team and assume complete responsibility for system updates or new system control functions from start to finish of the project.
• Write LabVIEW code: Write LabVIEW code to control automated test equipment. Architect, test, and deploy a reusable, modular software solution that involves using a structured software development process with version management.
• Support System Installation:Support field installation, startup, and debug of systems at Husco and customer sites. Train and communicate automated machine functionality to end users and have excellent written and verbal communication with internal and external customers.

• Minimum of 3 years of programming experience with automated manufacturing equipment.
