Job description

We are seeking a Senior Laboratory Project Services Manager to join IQVIA Laboratories in a remote role (U.S.).

As a Senior Laboratory Project Services Manager, you will lead the design and launch of complex clinical research studies, manage sponsor and CRO lab activities, and mentor project teams to ensure successful project delivery.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead the setup and execution of complex, global clinical trial projects from initiation through closeout.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between sponsors, CROs, and internal teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Review study protocols and budgets, and develop comprehensive project and risk management plans.
  • Guide the development of laboratory specifications, manuals, and study-specific documentation.
  • Monitor project performance, manage scope changes, and proactively resolve service-related issues.
  • Lead client meetings and presentations, providing strategic input and fostering strong client relationships.
  • Mentor and support the Project Services team, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to business development efforts, including proposal development and technical reviews.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field preferred.
  • 5–7 years of experience in clinical trials, hospital-funded research, project management, or laboratory operations.
  • Experience managing large, global Phase I–IV clinical trials.
  • Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.

The knowledge, skills and abilities needed for this role:

  • Strong knowledge of project management principles and central laboratory operations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and client management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and centralized laboratory systems.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $80,200.00 - $200,600.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
