Job summary

Mead & Hunt, Inc. is seeking an experienced Architect to lead the architectural delivery of sophisticated laboratory projects across the United States.

The role is full-time and can be based in Middleton, WI (greater Madison area), Bloomington, MN, or Tampa, FL. The successful candidate will manage design through occupancy, coordinate with lab planning and engineering disciplines, and mentor staff while building strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture or related field from an accredited college or university.
• At least 10 years of relevant project experience.
• Current architectural license and ability to obtain licensure in additional states as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design, technical development, and project delivery from early planning through occupancy.
• Coordinate architecture with laboratory planning, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, civil, process utility, instrumentation, and specialty disciplines.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Mentor architectural staff and support professional development.
