Job summary

Mead & Hunt is seeking a full-time, experienced Architect to lead the architectural delivery of sophisticated laboratory projects across the United States. The role requires coordinating architecture with engineering disciplines, laboratory planning, and specialty consultants to meet client objectives and budgets.

You will mentor staff, develop work plans, participate in bids and construction administration, and build strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture from an accredited college or university.
• Current architectural license and ability to obtain licensure in additional states as needed.
• NCARB Certification is preferred or encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and project delivery from planning through occupancy.
• Coordinate with laboratory planning, structural, MEP, civil, and other disciplines.
• Review submittals, RFIs, change orders, and site conditions during construction.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships; mentor staff and lead design workshops.
• Participate in bids, construction administration, and commissioning support.
