Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced attorney to join our labor and employment practice in New York. You will represent employers in a wide range of workplace disputes, work closely with clients on litigation strategy, risk management, and employment law issues while taking ownership of significant case responsibilities and contributing to a collaborative legal team.

Qualifications

At least 5 years of experience handling labor and employment matters.
Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws is required.
Experience drafting legal briefs, motions, and other advocacy documents.

Responsibilities

Manage employment litigation matters through all phases of the case lifecycle.
Conduct witness interviews and factual investigations.
Review and analyze large volumes of electronic documents and evidence.
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other filings.
Conduct and defend depositions and attend hearings and conferences.
Communicate with clients regarding strategy, developments, and risk assessments.
Negotiate with opposing counsel and provide guidance on workplace issues.
Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups on complex matters.
