Job summary

The Dallas office of Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP seeks an associate to join the Labor and Employment team in a full-time, partnership-track position. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 8 years of law firm experience in labor and employment litigation and counseling.

A successful candidate will manage employment litigation matters, take and defend depositions, draft and argue motions, and advise employers on a broad range of workplace issues, policy development, and risk management.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of law firm experience in labor and employment litigation and counseling.
• Experience managing employment litigation matters, including depositions, motions, deadlines and dockets.
• Strong academic record and exceptional written and oral advocacy.
• Texas bar admission required; EEO/drug-free workplace/e-Verify.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise employment litigation matters and case strategy.
• Take and defend depositions, draft and argue motions, and communicate with opposing counsel.
• Advise employers on workplace issues including policy development, compliance, and risk management.
• Work directly with clients in a fast-paced environment.
