The ideal candidate will bring strong Labor & Employment experience, including trial and arbitration, and can independently manage employment litigation matters from inception through resolution.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of Labor & Employment experience.
• Trial and arbitration experience is required.
• Ability to independently manage employment litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Experience with pleadings and discovery.
• Experience with motions, depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Strong legal writing, research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Growth mindset and commitment to providing exceptional client service.
• Collaborative approach and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school.
• Admission to the Texas Bar.

Responsibilities

• Independently handle employment litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft and respond to pleadings and other litigation documents.
• Manage all aspects of discovery.
• Draft and argue dispositive and other motions.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Handle employment discrimination matters.
• Advise and represent clients regarding restrictive covenant disputes.
• Develop case strategy and manage litigation matters efficiently.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties throughout the litigation process.
• Manage multiple matters and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with partners and colleagues while providing exceptional client service.
