Job summary

Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP seeks an associate to join its Labor and Employment team in a full-time, partnership-track position. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of employment and labor experience and will be prepared to manage litigation and provide strategic advice to clients.

This role may be based in Washington, DC; Richmond; Dallas; Houston; or Atlanta. A successful candidate will have experience in employment litigation, including depositions, drafting and arguing motions,

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, research, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to work directly with clients and manage matters independently.
• Experience handling employment and labor litigation, including depositions and motions.

Responsibilities

• Manage employment litigation matters, including depositions and drafting motions.
• Develop and pursue case strategy, deadlines, and dockets.
• Advise employers on a broad range of workplace issues and regulatory matters (NLRA/NLRB familiarity a plus).
• Coordinate with colleagues and clients to provide practical, business-focused advice.
