Job summary

Transdev is seeking a Senior Labor Counsel to join its Corporate Legal Department and provide strategic labor and employment counsel across divisions. This role emphasizes traditional labor law, collective bargaining, arbitrations, and NLRB matters in a national, remote-capable setting.

The candidate will lead negotiations and advise management on complex union-related issues while traveling within the United States as needed.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Licensed attorney in good standing with the state bar.
• Minimum of 12 years of labor and employment law experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead union contract negotiations as chief spokesperson.
• Develop negotiation strategies with business unit leaders.
• Oversee day-to-day administration of multiple CBAs.
• Research and analyze federal, state, and local labor laws impacting negotiations.
• Advise senior leadership on labor strategy and organizational risk.
• Represent the company in labor arbitrations and related proceedings.
