Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a dedicated research professional for a full-time laboratory role in the Wake Forest University School of Medicine corridor. The candidate will support planning, development, and execution of clinical and research projects with a focus on rigorous experimental design and data collection.

Responsibilities include developing standard procedures, reviewing literature, and helping prepare manuscripts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Biological and/or Physical Sciences with four years of related chemical/research experience.
• Master's in Biology or related Physical Science with two years of laboratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consult with PI to plan, develop, and implement clinical/research projects.
• Develop control procedures for test standardization.
• Develop techniques for specimen and tissue analyses in complex procedures.
• Review literature to support design of procedures or techniques.
• Prepare detailed experiment reports and discuss results with PI; assist manuscript preparation.
